The day is just a narcissist with a god complex who can’t stand successful young women

no shade to kanye. all sun.

I don’t get it
You people churn out stanzas about her allure,
About her quiet charm, her beauty
But you’ve never even met her! Not really.
And yet, you set harmonies to verses dedicated to her brilliance
Like you know her? Please!
She’s just a canvas conveniently blank and dark,
A projection of your desires,
A silhouette in which you paint some long lost lover
She literally does nothing!
Just sits there and broods
All the while I have to help the plants make food?
I’ve given everything to you humans,
My youth, my might,
But you love her for just whining and preening
She’s just a pathetic prick, the night.

What is it that you humans see in her?
How do you bear to look at the sprinkling of dandruff
Across that drab funeral garb
And the moon with its tuberculosis complexion
A torso so big its definitely seen too much carbs
How can you stand it?
She shrouds our world in empty
She embraces her absence of light
She’s not even apologetic
what an arrogant bitch, the night.

She’s hell on earth
The criminal and illicit’s best friend
I’m tired of sharing the same turf
She needs to be humbled
her reign must end!
When will it be my time to shine?
When will you see,
You’d all be better off
If your world only had me!
